Some rooms never get a ceiling fan — the wiring isn't there, the landlord says no, or it was never worth the electrician. The SocketFan fixes that quietly. It screws into the light socket you already have and becomes both your light and your fan, controlled from a small remote on your nightstand. The room stays cool, the light stays warm, and nobody has to drill anything.
SocketFan — 2-in-1 Screw-In Ceiling Fan Light
- No installation barrier
- Sleeps well
- Airflow where you want it
Quiet enough to fall asleep under.
The motor stays under 30 dB on its lower speeds — below a whisper. Set the light to its warm tone, dim it down, start the sleep timer from the remote, and let the room cool while you drift off.
- Sleep timer switches the fan off on its own
- Dimmable warm, natural, and cool white tones
- Remote works from across the room
Four heads, folded into the size of a bulb box.
The four fan arms fold flat for shipping and storage, then lock open to a 19.7-inch spread. Each head angles up to 90°, so you can point the airflow where you actually sit or sleep instead of straight down.
- Four adjustable fan heads for wide circulation
- 90° tilt on each head
- Bright, even LED panel in the centre
If you can change a bulb, you can install this.
Switch off the power at the wall, remove your bulb, and screw the SocketFan into the same E26/E27 base. Unfold the heads, switch the power back on, and pair the remote. That's the whole job — nothing drilled, nothing wired, nothing your landlord needs to know about.
Check the fit before you order.
We'd rather you measure twice than return once. The fan needs a standard screw-in socket and roughly 50 cm of clear space around the fixture so the heads can open fully. If your bulb pushes and twists in (bayonet) rather than screws, you'll need an inexpensive bayonet-to-E27 adapter first.

Questions before you buy
Will it fit my socket?
It fits standard E26 and E27 screw bases. If your current bulb screws in, you're compatible. Bayonet fittings need a small adapter, available at any hardware store.
How strong is the airflow?
Four heads circulate air across a normal-sized bedroom or office. It moves air rather than chilling it — think comfortable, not cold. It pairs well with aircon by spreading the cool air further.
Is it safe to leave running?
The LED and motor are energy-efficient and designed for continuous use, and the sleep timer switches it off automatically overnight. Always install with the wall power switched off, as with any bulb.
What if it doesn't work in my room?
Return it within 30 days. Unscrew it, box it up, and contact support — we answer within one business day.
